Up to $1500 in New Simulus Tax Credits Are Now Available to Homeowners.

On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed a stimulus bill (The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009) that made some significant changes to the energy efficiency tax credits. The highlights are:

In order to qualify all windows must now meet the following criteria:

NFRC U-Factor* <= 0.30
NFRC SHGC* <= 0.30

Many window products currently on the market do not meet these much more stringent new criteria. Make sure that you receive a Manufacturer Certificate before approving any order.
